Challenge

Create a student-centered career experience that helps MATC students build confidence, discover resources, and connect with peers around their next steps.

Experience

I designed and coordinated a CareerHub student event informed by pre-event research on students’ career confidence, resource awareness, and sense of connection. The experience combined career resources, peer discussion, student leadership, and opportunities for meaningful connection.

Impact

  • 100% would attend another event like this

  • 78% were very/extremely likely to take a specific next step toward their goals

  • 67% were very/extremely confident in knowing their next career or college step post-event

  • 78% were very/extremely confident in knowing where to go for career or college support post-event

  • 56% reported feeling very/moderately connected to other students post-event

  • 78% were very/extremely clear about the skills, experiences, or resources needed to reach their career goals

  • Students highlighted career resources, peer connection, advice, and increased self-understanding as key outcomes
